The 10 Most Expensive Cars in The World

BYJim Prueter
Owning one of these masterpieces isn’t about transportation or need, it’s about flamboyance, bravado, and pageantry. If your last name is Gates, Bezos, or Zuckerberg, these supercars were meant for you. For the rest of us, they’re fantastic eye candy.

Arash AF10 Hybrid
$1.2 million
From the British supercar builder, the AF10 combines a V-8 gasoline engine with four electric motors to deliver an insane 2,080 horsepower. Arash calls it “the electric lightning bolt livery.”

Zenvo TS1
$1.8 million
Built in Denmark, the TS1 will have a total production run of just 15 units. The car will be powered by a twin-supercharged V-8 engine that delivers an estimated 1,100 horsepower.

Lamborghini Centenario LP 770-4
$1.9 million
Built to commemorate what would have been founder Ferruccio Lamborghini’s 100th birthday, this supercar is the most powerful Lamborghini ever built, delivering a massive 770 horsepower.

Koenigsegg Regera
$1.9 million
The Swedish manufacturer is planning to build just 80 units of the 1,500-horsepower gas-electric hybrid exotic. The name Regera means “to reign.” Hard to disagree.

Pagani Huayra BC
$2.5 million
Named after the late Benny Caiola, who was known for owning one of the most extensive Ferrari collections in the world, the BC packs 750 horsepower from its twin-turbo V-12 engine.

Bugatti Chiron
$2.7 million
A massive 8-liter 1,500-horsepower 16-cylinder engine powers this French-built two-seater. Brutally fast, it reaches 60 mph in just 2.5 seconds.

Aston Martin AM-RB 001
$3 million
Partnering with Red Bull Racing, Aston Martin will build between 99 and 150 units of the street-legal supercar, which also is capable of extreme performance on the track.

Lykan Hypersport
$3.4 million
Built in Dubai, the first Arab supercar features diamond-encrusted headlamps. The Lykan had a starring role in the blockbuster film Furious 7.

Lamborghini Veneno
$4.5 million
Bruce Wayne wouldn’t look out of place driving this exotic Italian beauty. Only nine models of the Veneno — which means “poison” — were built.

Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita
$4.8 million
Thanks to a process that involves coating carbon fibers with a diamond-dust-saturated resin, the exterior of this vehicle is literally coated in diamonds. Wonder how much a bottle of touch-up paint costs?
