Desert Caballeros Western Museum - Wickenburg

From Phoenix’s Pueblo Grande Museum and it’s own permanent collection, this exhibit explores the distinctive pottery produced by many of the pueblos. Much like wine, traditional pottery is a product of the place in which it is made. It is shaped, not only by the potter and her or his cultural ideas about pottery, but also by the raw materials available for its manufacture.
